Professor Floege is a former executive council member of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN), the European Renal Association (ERA), and KDIGO. He edits the best-selling textbook “Comprehensive Clinical Nephrology, is associate editor of Kidney International since Jan 2018 and editor-in-chief of Clinical Kidney Journal since Sept 2023. Research interests encompass both basic research as well as clinical research in immune-mediated renal disease, in particular IgA-nephropathy. He coordinates the KDIGO world-wide guidelines on the management of glomerular diseases.
